Stable and steady, Silver Thorn might not be an agressively powerful deck but the deck itself is very self-sufficient and can generate decent hand advatages
Pros:
- Easy to play without any combo necessary
- Can generate quite a nice amount of advantages due to mass swarming and drawing
- All of your column are 23k+, even reaching 33k
Cons:
- Generally weak early game. Also if you can’t Soul Charge certain cards the deck can also have some problem once you start your Luquier turn
- Dorian is such an important card and not having it on your turn can be game losing sometime
- Is on a timer due to spending 2 Counter Blast each turn.
- Lacking options and the deck is a one-trick pony most of the time
Key Cards

Luquier is come with her ups and downs but is the most important card in the deck. For 2 CB and a card in your hand, she grant you access to mass calling in order to swamp your field efficiently. The +3k Power also guaranteed some really good numbers. Luquier by herself also have a good 10k Power boost.
Luquier have a problem though, restricting herself into Silver Thorn and Counter Blasting 2 every turn means there are little else you can do. Still, the deck works well.

Amazing card, help your rear guards dodge all of mass removal and generate you hand advantage. Be wary though, the deck become severely weaken if you don’t have her. Riding her is a misery sometime you have to go through so be wary.

Arguably the strongest G1 in the deck. Some might argue Irina is better since she net you a draw 1 but Romy is what going to help you the most. Reusable and soul charging cards you need in order for your deck to be at it best, Romy is essential for Silver Thorn
The Performers

Net you a draw, and let you Soul Charging card you want? Yes please. Her 2nd effect is less than stellar though, not as useful as Romy.
[AUTO](RC):When placed from hand, look at two cards from the top of your deck, put a card from among them into your soul, and put a card from among them on the bottom of your deck.
[AUTO]:When rode upon, look at three cards from the top of your deck, put any number of cards with “Silver Thorn” in their card names from among them into your soul, and put the rest of cards looked at on the bottom of your deck in any order. If you put two or more cards in your soul, draw a card.
Let’s be fair you only play him for the Silver Thorn name and not much else, his effect will probably be activated never. The card you call out only have 22k power at best and it’s not worth it for 1 CB. Still, maybe once in a blue moon it will be a game deciding factor
[AUTO](RC):At the end of the battle it boosted, if your soul has four or more cards with “Silver Thorn” in their different card names, COST [Counter Blast (1) & put a rear-guard with “Silver Thorn” in its card name that this unit boosted into your soul], and call a card with “Silver Thorn” in its card name from your soul to (RC).
A nice beater. Her first effect won’t see much use and when you use it, you probably just going to search for Dorian
Your 2nd beater, effect is simple, effective.
[CONT](RC):If you called two or more cards from your soul this turn, this unit gets [Power]+10000. Your 2nd beater, effect is simple, effective.
The deck best defensive option, a recycleable 15k shield is no joke. Very useful to guard normally or in sticky situation when you don’t have Dorian.
[AUTO](GC):When placed, COST
[put this unit into your soul
], and if your soul has four or more cards with “Silver Thorn” in their different card names, one of your units gets [Power]+15000 until end of that battle.
Golden Beast Tamer is amazing. Don’t have enough Counter Blast for Luquier? Slap her on and make your opponent cry. It’s the end of the game and Luquier doesn’t do much? Slap her on for the Golden Grand finale.
Honorable mention
Counter Charging is something people want to play in Silver Thorns due to the heavy cost of Luquier. I’d advise you not to, the deck doesnt have a way to access non Silver Thorn card and putting those cards in to your bottom deck can be more detrimental than you thought. The counter charge column will also have less than optimal attack compare to pure ST. If you want to play Counter Charge card though, play Comicality Chimera in the place of 2 Sheyda.

Some minor things
+ You go through the deck really fast so all of the trigger you put in the bottom of your deck with the effect of Irina and Romy will start stacking up. Your deck should be at it peak once you hit that Trigger section and ride GBT.
+ Playing non Silver Thorn card is not advised for the reason mention above. It also not help that you manage to soul charge less usable card and make the power consistency of your deck go down. Remember, both Sheyda and Marionette need 4 different name in your soul.
+ Accel 1 or Accel 2 is an interesting dilemma, it all bound down to do you value 1 card more or the ability to surpass 33k benchmark (since Rising Dragon and Marionette on an Accel 2 circle have 30k Power). Your choice.
